Mark's gang hikes up Mount Houghton!

On Sunday afternoon we headed up the Keweenaw do a short hike to the top of Mount Houghton and see the views.
Do you even know I'm here?
Sometimes they leave me behind.

We get started.

Up the snowmobile/atv trail we hike.

Me and Bella don't get out much you know.

We found cool streams along the way.  Me and Bella love that!

We finally made the top.

The views were great!  Bruce got sweaty!

I was hot and stayed in the shade.

Looking west at Lac LaBelle.

We had snacks up here.

Looking east

The humidity reduced the view, but it was still good.

We had such a nice hike today.

Just as we got back to the car, the rain started to fall.

2nd Swedetown ride for this year!

Ya!  It was predicted to be HOT on Saturday so we got up there early enough to beat the heat..
Here we go!

The mosquitoes were out so we limited our stops.

These are such nice trails.  This is an "artsy" shot.

Where's the dog?

O there she is!

Since it was warm, my tongue came out.

We had to do many water stops.

In the daisy patch.

It's been a good summer for growing brush.

Music on the menu and kids!

Oh ya, Arly finally took me down to the Portage Library to listen to the "music on the menu" and maybe we'd see some kids there.
I never hardly ever get see any you know!
This was Trio Bibliotheque with Oren Tikkanen,
Libby Meyer and Anna Gawboy.
I seen them last summer!

They are SO good.

I even got to socialize and see a puppy.

Oh ya, there were kids here. I love them!

Lots of friendly ones who might rub me some.

I even got in for a swim.

Amy threw a stick for me.

Don't worry, I'll get it!

Anna brought her dog.  He was friendly and wanted to
 romp with me.

Ya, I hope you come back and we'll play together next time.

I don't get out much and playing with all these
friendly people was sure fun.

I had so much fun, I had to nap as soon as we got home.

East to Fargo, North Dakota!!

On Monday we headed east and said our goodbyes at the Aronson ranch near Chamberlain SD.
I said goodbye to Arlyn's Mom and Dad.

Late in the day we showed up at Dan's
house in Fargo.  He likes to scratch me!

Just before dark,, we went across town to get in a short ride
 at Johnson trails.

These go along the Red River but with it so dark out,
photos didn't do well.

In and out of the woods we go!

Sadly, with all the rain they had recently got,
parts of the trail had flooded.   Oh well.

Even with sections flooded, it was still fun..

We'd go on the grassy section and find the trail again.

It was a short ride, be it sure felt good to run some.

Ya, we all needed to get out some!
These were still  fun single track trails.

This is the apartment building Dan lives in.  It was nice!

When will we ride with you again Dan??

By-by Dan.  Hope we see you soon!
