Snow, Enough to make a snow mutt gleeful.

I broke trail for my pack.

Arly found a spot to sit for a tea break near a Great Oak.  Who is that??

It snowed like this off and on all morning.

Who can't love snow? It's the best!

All paw drive doesn't need tracks but I thought some people
might like to see

what they looked like. The 2-leggeds said they were great!

After bounding in deep snow, its really hard to stay awake.

Deep Snow Adventures at Perrault Lake

On Saturday afternoon the pack headed up to this lake to do a BC ski around it and found the snow there to be fabulously deep and fun.
This is what makes a snow dog put her all paw drive to full use!
Here you can see Perrault Lake.

This is the depth I appreciate!

Yeah, I think we should go that way too.

Hey I did smell something here!

I bound and bound and bound and bound.

Funny that my pack likes to say, "A tired dog is a good dog". I'm still not sure what they mean by that...

More snow! And the machines that make running (or skiing) on it fun.

Me and the pack are going to have some adventures on the trails this weekend. Things have been groomed up and will be great! I'll be bounding in the deep and luxurious powder on the sides of the trail, as the other members of the pack are so slow, even on that nice firm surface!

Recent snow photos!

The snow dog said we needed to post photos taken last week when we got some. We really did need it! And more is on the way.

Hope you enjoyed them and we see you on the trails.

Moonlight bonfire!

Wow did we have a great time AND some of my best friends came out! They might not have gotten in the photos but a grand time was had by all.  When will we see you out with us??
My pack says there is more snow in the forecast.
Sue, Beverly, Mark, Kristen, Kathy, Arly, Sandy, and Jay. Where's Evan?? Photo by John.

This photos was by Arly. Evan was hiding again. I'm in the bottom of this photo! Check out my stylish reflecto-collar.

NCT Back Country adventure

On Saturday with warm temps predicted and shallow snow depths in town, the pack decided to Back County ski the North Country trail to the O-Kun-De-Kun falls near Mass City and keep skiing east from there.

Oh bridges make me nervous!

Why do they insist on a bag lunch when I could hunt fresh game?

Someone had a Grouse lunch here.

Blow downs make for low markers!

The trail was "rustic" and difficult to follow so we turned back about 3 or so miles east.
