Heavenly crust!

With temps in the low 20's overnight and a warm morning sun, the pack headed to the Nara trailhead on Wednesday to check out the back country ski conditions.
We found skiing to be maybe the best this spring!

We barely made tracks in the crust!

Spring is on the way.
(don't let her kid you, this is last years nest)

We said hi to some big birds.

The Pilgrim River is coming up.  I love water!

The snow bridges are getting skimpy.

The sun finally started softening the surface some.

The pack had good glide. All paw drive worked like a charm, too.

I had to take a water stop.

We even zipped down the ungroomed ski trail! Whee!
