North Country Trail weeds b gone

Finally having cooler temps on Saturday morning, we headed west to our section of the NCT to knock some weeds down on it.
Hey Wally!  I see the camping and trail clearing equipment is
being loaded. I'll stand here and make sure that I'll get along.

An hour later, we set up camp on Gardner road and Josh showed up!
We hiked in on a camp road to start on the west side of our section.

It might be in the 60's out but it's still warm out for winter dogs
like us.

Now we are headed east and got to cleaning up some weeds.

This is at Spring Creek.  It was way down!
Seems Josh is working on his strings.

Ya, we needed to knock some weeds down here.

Looking better guys!

Then we see more and more weeds.

Sandy, you need to get busy and help Josh on these!

This was the worst section and it looks much nicer now.

Our section sure gets weedy!

Are we about done?  We've been out for quite a few hours now.

I don't know how we'd have got this done without Josh.

Although I don't think he's noticed that I'm rather hungry.

It started to drizzle about now.
Trails mutts do help.
What trail are we on?  Oh ya.

The fog is mist made by the whackers.
6 hours later we came out!
