Day II of trail weeds B gone.

On Sunday we went back to do more weed whacking on our section of the North Country Trail.   In the last post, you may note the camper was brought out and set up but with the rain that fell all afternoon, and mosquitoes out in force, we decided to head home in light of a dry clothing shortage and desperate need for a shower.
Kelpie's can smell bacon ya know.
Who's the best puppy in the whole kitchen right now?

Back on the trail in the most gorgeous morning ever,
we head out among the tall pines.

Now we are finally doing something important!

We stop for a lunch break here.

Hey! I smell something here.

We made it to where we left off yesterday!
In cerebration we run, growl and bark!

Puppies like to run ya know.
Getting the grass knocked down is fun.

Actually looks like a trail again!

This is the grass we hate to see hikers going through.
Almost done!
Back at camp, both the dogs and the 2 legged types,
took a good nap.

We had such a nice day on the trail.
I hope we get back to the NCT soon.
