Black River hike adventures.

On Sunday, with hot temps and a west breeze, we all hopped into the dog truck to head for the Black River nature conservancy for a hike and swim adventure.
Oh gee! Maybe Arly needs to get here with his saw.
It was cooler here, near the lake.

And weed whacker.

Although, the brush doesn't impede squirrel hunting.

The sun did feel hot as we hiked farther away from the big lake.

OK Gromit, I'll follow you!

Finally, we got to our beautiful big lake.
With the old bridge long since washed away,
we all crossed the creek to get to the other trail.
Hey! This is a great adventure.
There's always so many interesting things for a puppy to sniff.

The 2-leggeds swapped the sandals for boots.
We made our way back.

Connie tape!

Lotsa spider webs in this brushy area.

Oh, we'll have to enjoy our last dip in the creek.
