Courtney Lake spring romp!

On Saturday afternoon, we headed south to Courtney Lake for an adventure romp!

We were here in December, but thought we'd better ski here
again before our snow went south. Or would that be north...

We love this place. It's trail mutt approved!

It was so much fun to get out, even the old dog was feeling lively.

To be honest, we get out for a romp each day,
that just doesn't get posted on our blog.

Oh dear, the trail markings are gone.
Looks like logging is going on here.

We wanted to head south a ways to a "river overlook"
we'd seen on the maps, but had never been to before.

We found the river, but no "overlook" to be had.
Still good for snow baths!

We stopped for tea since we couldn't find the overlook anyway.

Now we are heading back and took a different
 route and us mutts still feel like going fast.

What a glorious spring day to be in the snow.

We spied log pile that was forwarded here. It was huge!
 I'm sitting way up high on top.

Now we're almost back.

It was a most exciting day and we couldn't stay awake on the
way home.

More spring news is the Redpolls came back.
We'd not seem them all winter!
