Crust ski romp!

On Tuesday, Sandy got off a bit early so the pack jumped into the dog truck to head to Boundary Rd for an afternoon romp at the Pilgrim Watershed trail.
Gee whiz the snow has gone down! It was high
as the truck just a couple weeks ago.

And the gate was almost buried.

We found the crust nice and firm for all-paw drive, but soft on top.
Perfect!

Even older dogs feel good during crust season.

Oh, I'm so glad we can still take snow baths!

Ya, I recommend them too.

The snow was just as nice in the shadows as in the sun.

It was nice to see the sun again.

See the melting around the trees? Its prime for maple syrup runs!

On the picnic table. Ya the snow depth is still good.

We had such a nice romp here today.
