On Sunday afternoon, we headed NE to Copper Harbor, to romp on their ski trails before our snow season ends.

A west wind was blowing today.

Plenty of base and firm everywhere.

We hardly seen a soul, anywhere here. I guess it's now officially there off season.

This is the trail headed towards the camp ground at Ft Wilkins.

There were lots of interesting things to sniff.

Old dogs still feel good as long as there's snow.

We cross the outlet creek of Lake Fanny Hooe.
![]() |
It was running pretty good!

We pretended to be the Fort's guard dogs.

Let's go!

There was lots of tree debris, thanks to the shrinking base.

Skiing was kinda sketchy in the shadows, but great in the sun.

And where's that Wally now?
![]() |
Oh there he is.
![]() |
I found some live game! He made me nervous.

It was a very busy day, between going to church and visiting Copper Harbor.
