More winter romps, for everyone take II!

On News Year's Eve, we got out for some nice romps. In the morning, we went for another cruise around the Pilgrim Watershed Trails.

The snow is now too deep, so we have to park on the road.

Oh the pine trees are pretty!

The sun even came out!

Snow is only belly-deep so far.

We could just barely make out our old ski tracks.

One of the many nice Pilgrim River overlooks

Snow sticking to all the branches sure is pretty.

Deer are having to dig pretty deep to forage.
Soon they'll head down to the lake shore.

More snow than this and off trail romping
will be tough for dogs with small sized paws.

Towards the end of the ski, a certain dog was getting tired.

Ya I had to nap on the couch when we got home,
to re-charge for the next adventure.

Then in the afternoon, Gromit tagged
along to Nara, to see if any kids were there at the sledding hill.

Oh ya! There are lots of friendly families here today.

We made the social rounds.

Oh we know you guys! Ya you can touch us.

You too, I insist you pet me.

I'll go right between your legs, I don't mind.

We love moms...

And we especially love kids!

Oh hey! I found a friendly pup to tussle with.

I wasn't sure about this little fellow.

What a gorgeous day for sledding!

We romped around the river bottom loop.
Great way to celebrate New Year's Eve!
