Courtney trail romp Sunday!

On Sunday the pack decided it was high time for a BC ski adventure at Courtney Lake!

Sunny, calm, and 22. Perfect!

Let's get a going!

The first leg of the Circle of Life trail
had been snowshoe-packed.

This section is much prettier now, than in the summer.

After we crossed the Old Grade, the trail was skier packed.

Here, snow has pulled the branches down.
Good thing Arly had trimmed many of them this fall!

We stopped to gaze at Six Mile Lake for a bit.

It was a treat to ski in the sun shine.

I checked to be sure the floating platform was still OK.

Just imagine how pretty it will be, once it gets snowing for real.

At the junction of the Circle of Life and the Old Grade.

Up the hill we head, towards the camp ground.

This was our home-away-from-home this fall!

Now we glide through the campground.

Ski on? Or stop for lunch. Hmmm let's break for lunch.

Since we were so close, we stopped at the truck for lunch.
Back a-going!

We skied through the pines, toward the "skier parking area".

A few skiers have indeed parked here this weekend.

We headed down The Old Grade.

We cleared this section with Janet.

Hunting was good today, as usual.

Oh, Oh I better catch back up.

Almost back, I heard a squirrel.
We had such a nice romp here today!
