Snow! and birds

A front passed through last night which blanketed us in a foot or more.

I went out this morning and found everything covered
with my favorite white stuff.

The sunflower feeder was covered and almost tipped over!

Speaking of birds.   These guys seemed hungry.

These are Red Poles which winter here from the far, far north.

This flock is quite large and the niger will really go down
and they'll consume 1/3 of this feeder per day.
