On Sunday afternoon we joined Mark Roberts' gang for a ski down the North American trail which starts on Cliff Drive just NE of Calumet MI. This was a wagon trail cut when the North American Mine was operating in around 1860 and was their access down to Eagle River. We had always wanted to see it!
