Bob Lake and Beaver Lodge Trail inspection hike.

Sunday afternoon was sunny and calm so after house project chores were done, we headed west to Bob Lake to hike and check the Beaver Lodge trail out.  We clear this short but nice trail, each summer.

The weather was grand!

This is the short trail right by the lake.  It was pretty good.

These two had been on shore.

No one camping here today.

Didn't see the resident trumpeter swans either.

Now back on the Beaver Lodge Trail.

Oh dear, we found dead-falls right off.

We spied turtles sunning themselves here.

We also hiked to and a bit down the NCT and back.

Lots and lots of trees fallen across this trail.

We spied a new beaver pond.

Wonder if anyone will get out here and clear this mess?

What a nice hike.
Maybe we can come back over the week end to camp?
