CAMBA Camp-n-ride weekend, day 1

Finally! My pack got out of town for a mountain biking extravaganza to Cable WI trails. Our adventure started on September 12th.
Sometimes they leave me.
A trail mutt has to be careful!

After a refreshingly cool night in the camper,
we were greeted by a beautiful morning.

Hunting was good at the Lake Namakagon
 campground, as usual.

Greg met us for a ride again!

His bike was giving him some grief.
That's why I prefer all-paw drive.

Down the Fish Hatchery trail we go.

We met a friendly family at the Hatchery Creek park.
The kids and dogs were friendly.

Now we head back to Mosquito Brook trail head.

There was a big wind storm last fall that
 knocked many trees down here.

Mosquito Brook...

...I recommend it! For a cool dip.

After bidding Greg good-bye a lunch break, we headed north.

They've really worked on the Makwa trail this year!

There had been some logging here.

We had such nice rides on this cool and sunny day!
