Trail clearing Pilgrim!

Exciting news folks! We will be grooming some of the logging roads/trails at the Pilgrim Watershed Trails on Boundary Rd. this winter. So we're clearing an old logging trail that cuts from the main loop, in to the single track hiking trail. This will give winter trail users 3 groomed paths in to the single track, to provide various options of length for skiing, snow shoeing, skijoring, phat biking, etc. The single track trail will of course remain user-groomed but hopefully the trails will gain more regular traffic to keep those trails easily used also.

Sunday morning. Ready to go!

Arly installed a temporary sign at the logging road
we're clearing so hikers won't be confused and to tell folks
that some trails will be groomed this winter.

Before: pretty over grown.

After!

Squirrel hunting was good today.
Here I'm making a rare appearance.

At the end of the day, we hiked down to where the logging
road meets the 2-track. We'll cut brush to make a turn-around spot somewhere near here.
Sure will be fun to ski this winter!
