Moving on down to....Lake Ste Kathryn

We got done at Bob Lake on Sunday, so we packed up and headed to the CG at Lake Ste Kathryn.   We are clearing camp sites here and at Bob Lake for Calderwood services.
We got a nice site right next to the host, Cheryl.

On the road into camp, we bumped into Dean and Bubba!

Dean had come to ride the Deer Marsh Trail with his awesome
burly MTB.

It was so nice to see you two!

We also walked down to see Larry and Diane.
And the new puppy Covey!

I'm not sure what to think, so I'll keep my distance.

Maybe he'll not bite me.

Oh ya, we've not seen you guys in weeks.

Then we went for a hike around the Deer Marsh Trail.
Dean said he'd seen trees fallen across it so we'll check them out.

It's sooooo pretty here.

OK, we found one across the trail.

We're trying to move it with the pry bar.

Arly's slicing it again with the pole saw.

Off you go!

All done!

Kelpies aren't water dogs, but still like a cool dip!

Another across the trail!
This is a big popple crown, completely blocking the trail.
Buzz and cut, buzz and cut we do...

It took about an hour to clear.

All done!

Back to camp, we clear sites.

Arly got fishing string in the saw's bar which trashed it.

By the later afternoon, some previously busy mutts needed a break.

Yes it's the time of year to see lotsa different fungus.

It's always the time of year for rolling!

After a long day outside, the pack showered up,
then had a nice camp supper.
