Pilgrim Watershed trail morning mowing

On Monday morning, we meet at John's house, then headed out on the Pilgrim Watershed trail to do more maintenance on it.
John was going to mow down the weeds on the logging paths.

Arly brought tools to move a map post.

It was a perfect morning for doing trail work.

Trails mutts like us, are all about doing trail work!

John gets a mowing.

While Arly pulled a map post out that wasn't placed
in the best position.

Older mutts like me stay close by while
annoying puppies are in the woods hunting.
The map holder roofs are quite weathered and in need
of replacement. Arly's got a plan for that.

That's better.
Its now placed across the path and a bit further down.
Hopefully, this will be less confusing for hikers.

John made many passes.

The trail did need a good mowing.

The trail from the gate on Boundary road,
to the Pilgrim river picnic table is now mowed.  Thanks John!

Now mowing on the east sides logging path when
John's mower broke down.

Also done today was the moving of stored lumber
to locations where it will be used.
