On Saturday evening, the snow kicked in and by Sunday morning, we had a real blizzard happening here.
Looking out our kitchen window, this north west wind is
pushing lotsa snow to the south side of our house. |
They said we were all antsy and cooped up so we came out
to help move snow. |
I'm staying away from that darn noisy thing! |
Arly had to blow snow twice today, it was filling in so fast. |
Later, we finally got out for a blizzard adventure.
We had 60mph gusts today. |
Why drive to a trail when you can ski right from home? |
Can you tell, this is where the tech skiers live? |
Wally plowed the path open for everyone. |
Oh hey! We met some friendly stranded people.
This is at a nearby apartment building.
They never did get out of the parking lot. |
Gee whiz, it's really hard going! |
Up the path we trudge. More like a swim for a puppy! |
Ya, it's snowy! |
Pretty soon, we had to follow. |
OK, let's hop back down to the parking lot where it's easier going. |
Oh hey! More friendly people shoveling there car to get out.
This is a MI tech parking lot. |
Not too many folks were out today.
Mutts like us, are always glad to make new friends! |
OK, let's zoom right down the snow bank. This is Garnet street. |
Whee! |
You coulda skied anywhere around town easier than driving. |
Here's the outside view of the south side of our house.
The squirrels will like the feeder at this level... |
The Big Boss even came out today. That's not bushes it's parked by.
It's the pear trees. Ya there's 4 - 5 feet of snow on the level in our yard.
This latest snow might bring us up to 250" for the year. |
