Black river romp and Snow-cats!

We had a busy busy long weekend of snow adventures in Ironwood MI and at the WinMan trails at Winchester WI.  This post is from Friday at Ironwood. We romped along at Wolverine and later at the Black River while Arly attended an old snow-cat gathering at Big Powerhorn ski area.
Wally, these are some of the falls of the Black River.
We romped along the trail on the other side of the
 river last spring, remember?

The recent cold-n-snowy snap covered up lotsa the falls.

I hope we come back here again soon!
This Black river is sooooo pretty.

This is part of the NCT. Wow, a paint blaze!

Meanwhile, Arly was at the Cat Clouder.

Some folks went down and onto the Big Lake shove ice.
Gourmet meal to boot!
Back at Copper Peak.  We helped Mike get his cat loaded back up.

The guys zoom along with Copper Peak ski jump in the back ground.

Ya quite a few old, and some newer snow cats were here.

This one is a real classic.
Hey! I found some friendly kids here too!

Oh ya, everyone got some good rubbing.

Hey! We could play with that.

Ya! Let's play.

Kids are the best.

Maybe we'll see you here again next year!
