Sunday's swap crossing trail clearing!

On Sunday we headed back to the NCT after hearing from Jim and Nancy in the last post, they couldn't find a board walk across a wet area.
Lets get a going Arly!  We are back on Forest Service Rd 1470
and will be heading west to find the grassy swamp crossing.
Today we forgot a camera, so Sandy used her phone today.

After hiking 2 miles west, we finally found it.

Yes, this is the crossing, and I (Gromit) is the dark spot.
Experienced trail mutts like us can always find a trail ya know!
With all this grass, people are stepping in water.

After a few hours of limb cutting, then the grass was knocked down.

Ya, there really is a nice board walk here.

This is looking better!  It was really warm out today.

All you need is a few professional tools.

Now he's clearing the cut grass from the boards

All done!   Maybe hikers can now find it.

Back at the FS road, we cleared the signage.
