Another spring, spring creek romp!

With Arly not working all the time, (he grooms ski trails) we got out for yet another grand adventure along Spring Creek in Churning Rapids today.
Trail mutts like us, do like the warm temps and deep snow!
We parked on High Point Rd and romped in on Maki Trail.

Now we can really zoom along, on the ski trail!
We took this to get to Spring Creek.

Here's the bridge. Let's cross it, then follow the creek upstream!

Oh ya, this is great. Other critters have been down here lately too.

OK let's find a crossing spot.

A certain junior trail mutt, whined and whined before crossing here!
"Hey! it was really, really scary!"
The bounding was great. This is a log we cross the creek on.
We made it upstream all the way to Ruby Marsh.

We just skied down this hill and across a bike bridge.

We cut across the open field, then took the old diagonal trail.

Then we zoomed down the ski trail, to Maki trail.

Hey! This is groomed too, by a snowshoer.

Then we followed Spring Creek again, in the gorge down stream
from Maki Trail. Hunting was good...

Snow dogs recommend cooling stops.
This is another log across the creek.

OK, almost to the bottom.
The junior trail mutt is leaning to sniff critter tracks.

We followed Villi Maki back to the car.
We had such an excellent spring adventure here today!
