Season opener at Bob Lake!

On Saturday afternoon, we headed south to the NFS campground on Bob Lake for our 1st camping trip of the year.
We knew something fun was in the works,
when we seen the camper was being loaded.

Next stop was Bob Lake!
The campground was not officially open,
so we brought our own water and other supplies.

Oh this is great!  And it didn't take long to get set up.

With all this pent up energy, puppy chasing begins!

We were surprised to see another campers down the way.
Lets go see who they are!

Oh good, they were all friendly.

Then yet another friendly mutt stops in!
What fun things are we all going to do together?

Older mutts, do like to be social.

And the chasing begins!
This was most, but not all of the dogs in the CG.

Right through camp!  Trail mutts can do that ya know.
We were also in the lake, over and over again.

Ya, this is so much fun.  This is what camping is all about.

I know to stay close by and get rubbed more.

We made new friends here.

The sun was going down fast and pack had to make dinner.

After kibble time, we had energy left over for more chasing.

Did you know puppy's are fast! This is firewood
we had left here in November.

So I'd guess, we are the 1st ones here this spring.

We brought fish with us this time.

This is Whitefish from Peterson's fish market.

Looks like its about done.

Huummm with grilled vegetables.
Its getting dark out.

Arly made us go to the lake shore and catch the late sun.

Oh ya, we do need to camp more.

We had such a nice time here today,
everyone brought friendly mutts along for us to play with.
Day II hike to follow.
