Porkies spring adventures, the hike out.

It's Sunday, our last morning at the Porkies Little Carp cabin.
We don't want to leave! There are still chipmunks and
squirrels to chase. Maybe more friendly campers to visit.

Oh good, we met another friendly trail mutt on our way out!
They were heading in for a day hike.

Bye bye, Pinkerton Creek.  Its brown from tannin.

Just about back to the road and our bread box Honda.

Once back to the car, we did a short drive to the
NCT trail head at Summit Peak Rd.

Wow, no sort of trail clearing here for many years.

Guess nature is taking its course.

We did spy a couple hand-cut limbs here and there.
Although we stepped over another 30, that should be removed.

But mostly, the trail needs lotsa love. Oh well.

Nonetheless, we had many nice hikes over the weekend.
Another grand Porkies adventure is in the books!
