Pilgrim Watershed Trails (off of Boundary RD) water drainage fixes

On Monday, Sandy got off work a bit early so the pack jumped into the dog truck to head to Boundary RD to clear a few wet areas.
They wore their mud boots but all-paw drive doesn't require that.

Arly, you dig there until you find that plugged culvert.

Soon gurgling was heard.  The water was about 3ft deep.

Arly! The swimming's good!

Puppies best be careful, or get sucked in!

Once Arly got some debris out, water flowed so hard,
the road shook.

Then an hour later, most of it was gone.

Now at the 2nd spot with a plugged culvert.

Watch your step...too deep for mud boots yet.

OK where's the culvert?

Flowing a little...

Now flowing a lot!

Hey! A friendly biker and dog came by to see us.

Already much of the water's spilled through the re-opened culvert.

Kelpie's don't mind silty water.

This hole was made when water was flowing
through rocks under the logging road.
I hope we can come back soon and do more repairs here!
