Perrault Lake Hightland Back country adventure.

On Saturday afternoon, we met our buddy Will to go for a romp at the Highland ski trail area. And, he brought a friend!
That's our buddy Will, but whose this trail Mutt we've never seen before?

Oh, we better go and meet her.   My name is Bella.

OK let's go! We ski up the logging road.

The snow is kind of deep here!

Not a problem for trail mutts.  I think we can pass Will!

Partway up the hill, we took a left and went "cross country".

This has much potential as a ski trail.

We stop for a little break among the Hemlocks.

This is just so pretty out here.

Sure it's pretty, but the mutts are slowing down from all the deep powder.

Maybe now we'll lead again!

For a break, trail mutts will tussle!

Ya, this is as good of BC skiing you can find anywhere.

They make have got 250" here so far.

And the sun even came out.  We don't see that much!

We're so glad Will and Bella came with us today!

What a wonderful 3 hour adventure we had.
This photo will give you a idea of the snow depth along the road.

  1. A slow year for snow might be about 170-180 inches of snow; so there should usually be plenty for outdoor rec :)
