Another South Boundary road romp

On Saturday morning, the pack has been seriously painting the laundry room but after one coat was applied, we jumped into the dog truck and headed south a few miles to ski off South Boundary road.
But earlier this week, Sandy's work mate Jess had gave us
some trout they had caught.  Hummmmmm

OK, now we're on the snowbank along the road.
The snow might be 5ft deep here.

Let's get a going!

Just like that, puppies get ahead.
This section was snowshoed in, earlier this week.

Shortly later, on the unpacked section,
even puppies wear out in this much snow.

As do older dogs even with much larger paws.

We ski along, more than 3ft above the ground.

Puppies know they must follow to get a break.

Hey! This is kinda hard going.

Older mutts take a while to catch up again.

The city of Houghton reports 225" of snow for the year.
And more on the way!

We're getting another foot or more tonight so we'll have to pack
this down again.

We are almost back and we had such a nice deep snow romp today.
