Sandy got off of work early enough today, we thought we'd make a quick trip to the Pilgrim Watershed Trail and clear it some this afternoon.

| Trail mutts know this trail well. This afternoon, we hope to clear just the dead-falls that are across the trail. |

| It will take some time to get it fully cleared, over the summer. |

| This leaner broke off the tree's top and has been here for some time. The trail went right under it. |

| Ya, lets get it cut down to size Arly! It did take some time, but we eventually got it removed. |

| Next one down the trail. |

| Cut, slice-en-dice. |

| Gone! |

| Yet another. |

| Someone said that pole-saws can't clear trails. |
![]() |
| Funny anyone would say so. |

| This was a tree and debris that washed onto the trail after last summer's flood. Gone! |
![]() |
| This one's been here since last summer. |
![]() |
| Seems like lots of logs here... |
![]() |
| And then finally, that snag that's been hung up since last fall. |
![]() |
| This one's near that picnic table overlooks the Pilgrim River. |

| A few hours later we are done! At least with that part. And we take a break at the picnic table. Looks like we used 1/2 a tank of bar oil today. So far, we got over 20 hours cleaning up this trail. |
