Pilgrim River spring romp

On Saturday, we headed out to the Pilgrim River in sunny skies and 45 degrees for a great spring romp!

We headed up the snow shoe trail, then bush wacked from here.

It had been below freezing for more
than 24 hours so it was good going!

Lots of folks have skied and snowshoed here, but not for a while.

Somebody had grouse dinner here recently.

It was even good going for a dog with tiny paws.

Some dogs think they're soooo fast.

We spied an old rusted barrel at the old farm stead.

River's up!

The snow on the south facing hill sides is getting skimpy.

I may have to have a dip soon!

Getting to look like spring around here.

We had such a nice romp here today.

Today is Gromit's 14th birthday!
To celebrate, she got a bit of a hair cut. This photo is "before".

How can anyone grow so much hair?

All trimmed up!
I got my belly hairs trimmed too. Tomorrow I'll get my
butt hairs trimmed. An old girl can only take so much at once!
