Courtney Lake skiing and other stops around town

With spring like weather in the forecast, we thought we better get back to Courtney Lake for one last ski. We made a few stops around town first...

We stopped by my favorite place, Erickson Feed!
Arly thought the snow there looked neat.

Next stop!

We parked at the boat launch, since the usual parking area
wasn't plowed.

Through the camp ground we go.

We camped here lots this fall! When can we come back?

Now we do the Circle of Life trail.

It hadn't been groomed in some time.  Why not?

Soon we met some friendly mutts!

He was back to Mass City to visit family with his Newfies.

Ya they were friendly indeed.

We stop for tea and muffins.

Dogs with small paws have to be careful to run in the track.

Pretty good snow depth on the platform.

The photo doesn't do justice of the
snow drifts off of Six Mile Lake.

What a beautiful day for a ski.

Sandy looks at critter tracks.

No one has gone this way.

It was a tough day to go off-trail for small-paw dogs.

Skin skis used today were OK but
back country skis would have been better.
We thought it would be groomed.

Nonetheless, we had a nice outing here today!
