Picnics, yard games and kid time in Ely MN.

We had a great time in Ely MN since we had kids to run with.  In particular, the Vesel kids! Sandy's brother and his family were up from Lansing, MI.

I've played with you guys many times over the years.
Nice to see you again! Gee you're getting big.

Later, quality kid time moved inside.

Trail mutts like to roll on the floor, and have kids rubbing us.

Seems we hardly ever get to hang out and have fun like this.

This is on Saturday. 

It was getting warm so we stayed in the shade.

Then Holly came by to say hi!  We can run and tussle with her.

She lives next door.

For lunch we went to Fall Lake for a picnic.

We had some shade and hardly any bugs.

Daniel took us for a little hike.

We got in the lake for a cool dip.
Trail mutts really do appreciate that.

All this picnic excitement wore Grandpa out.

Back in town we spied Holly coming home! 
Maybe we can run more?   Older mutts can play too.

Later a friendly fellow came by and we had to say HI too!
Could you let Holly back out?

Arly and the kids got another game going.

Puppies like to live on the edge, and
nap under a wild Uno game table.

More kid time before bed. We recommend it!

Sunday breakfast. Gramma always gives us some
 of our favorite peanut butter toast.

We had such a nice long weekend here.

I think it time for us to head for home. What is that Grandpa doing?

It was a busy time there with kids and all,
now we can nap on the way home.
