On Sunday morning, we headed back to the Pilgrim River Watershed trails to try to do more clearing before the day's predicted heat set in.
Sandy gathers a huge bunch of cuts to drag into the woods. She pulls them out far enough, to not be seen by hikers. |
We're getting close to the river, where we can take cool dips. |
They take a break on the river bank. I could use a snack as well! |
It's getting cleared and cleared. |
Slowly, its looking better out here. |
We finally made it to the river bottom. |
Now we hike out. It was getting too warm and humid out for the two legged members. |
In the afternoon at home, me and Wally helped cut and load buckthorn to be hauled away. All in all, it was a very busy weekend. |
