Another Spring Creek gorge adventure!

On Sunday, the pack loaded up the dog truck and headed out to High Point Rd for another Spring creek gorge adventure.

A note from the pack,   Googles blogger system is deleting old photos posted here and many of them seem to go every week!  Searching the web, we see other people experiencing the same problem with no clear solution to this.   Google says "its your fault because other people are deleting them from your location", or "you've also stored them on filkcer" (some site?) which is another google product and no longer in use".    Since we've not deleted them and never used any web storage system, so we can not find the answer this ongoing problem.  We may need to close this blog and find another system to use.  Would you have any idea's?

Oh ya, we can run, tussle and bite now!

This is sooooo much fun.
But with all the excitement my pack forgot their skis and had to run
back to town to get them, so we didn't ski with Wil and Bella as planned.

So later, we're back again but WITH our skis this time.
Sheesh, 2-leggeds. I'm glad we just use all-paw drive!

We started out from High Point road and someone had
snowshoed in, which is good for older dogs.

Then we zoomed down into the gorge.

Slower mutts better get out of the way!

Oh good, we'll not be ran over.

This is some of the best Back County skiing ever.

Many banks eroded and spilled trees over the creek last summer.

We duck under and around the brush.

We could cross the creek at will in most places.

The snow was pretty stiff, and was mostly good going.

Although, some puppies do not have very good flotation.

Oh No!  Here Sandy comes down the hill again.

 

I better get a going!

We ski by yet another washed out bank.

Hey! More snow shoe tracks. I can go fast now.
This is back up on Villi Maki trail.

Even older dogs can go faster when it's packed.

We had such a nice romp today.
Can we ski with Wil and Bella next week?
